HP BBQ sauce

1 1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup white granulated sugar
2 Tbl yellow mustard
2 Tbl worcestershire sauce
3/4 - 1 Tbl dried, minced onion
black pepper
Combine the above ingredients into a non-reactive sauce pan. Bring to a boil and cut the heat to a slow simmer. Stir often. Reduce until relatively thick.

This recipe was adapted from a once wildly popular dish, dubbed Hamburg Barbeque - which was served at a grammar school fair when I was a kid.
